Wireless keyboard and mouse combos are continually to grow in popularity. They’re perfect for typing while you are sitting back and relaxing, keeping pets from getting tangled in the wires, and keeping an overal clean look on your desk. However, sometimes your keyboard will just not work, whether you’re hooking it up to another computer or even simply changing the batteries. The following is a troubleshooting guide to aide you in getting your wireless/keyboard mouse combo functioning properly again.

1. Follow the instructions provided in your user manual for connecting the keyboard and mouse to the wireless sensor. If reconnecting does not work, go on to the next step.

2. Check to make sure the batteries are not dead. While this may seem like the most basic thing to check, it can also be overlooked. Some wireless sensors can even tell you when the battery is dying or dead. If the batteries are dead, install a fresh set of batteries and reconnect the keyboard and mouse.

3. Check the drivers for possible updates. Although not often a common problem, you should have Windows Device Manager check for it automatically or check the manufacturer’s website yourself.

4. Uninstall the drivers, unplug the wireless sensor, and restart your computer. Once your computer is fully booted, plus the wireless sensor back in and allow Windows to recognize the device. Sometimes a fresh install of the drivers will allow the keyboard/mouse combo to work again.

5. Battery Conductor Nodes. Look on the inside of the battery compartment, specifically at the positive/negative node springs, whichever is easier to access. If the spring is compressed, it means the springs are not receiving the electric charge from the battery to power it. Therefore, the spring needs to be uncompressed. Take a small screwdriver and carefully pop the spring out a little bit. Reinstall the batteries.

These are very basic things to check before assuming that your keyboard/mouse is completely dead. If your keyboard/mouse combo continues to cease functioning, consult your owner’s manual for further specific troubleshooting.

So many people say that it is impossible to watch youtube videos on a windows mobile phone easily. This is absolutely not true. vTap is a great application that allows you to search and view Youtube videos all in the vTap application. Not only does it give you the ability to watch the videos but if you create a vTap account you can save favorites and come back anytime and see the latest videos from that youtube account.

Some of the things that I can see vTap improving on is the ability to log directly into your youtube account. Allowing a user to do this would give them access to their subscriptions so that they may view and search through the subscriptions just as they would on their computer.

The application is built for windows mobile 5 and 6 touch screen devices and iphones only. So sorry to all you Moto Q fans this is not the application for you. If you would like to download vTap just click the link >>>> http://www.vtap.com/wm.html

Video to be posted soon.

To all you windows mobile fans I have found your best friend. This application not only is the worlds most advanced mobile browser but also gives you everything and I mean everything that your computers browser can bring to you.

So you may ask how this work? Well to put it as simple as possible your phone does not do anything. Really, it does not process the data that your computer normally would. What makes this browser special is the fact that it uses server side processing to provide a rich end user experience. This means that the Skyfire servers process all the data before it gets to your phone. You phone just receives raw data from skyfire and displays and plays any audio that the skyfire servers transmit.

What does this mean? This is awesome because it will allow manufactures of websites to continue to make graphic intensive website while not leaving a mobile user in the dust. This revolutionary way to process web pages on mobile phones is the future and do not be surprised if you see this technology soon in your iphone and newer HTC devices.

If you are interested in joining the private beta please go to http://skyfire.com and click Sign Up!

Sorry for the audio issues

So, this is a great application that I have been using for many years. Today I have put together a few screen shots and a text tutorial on the program. If you have windows XP Media Center Edition or Vista Home Premium or Ultimate then this is a must have program in your Media Center.

The program consists of two parts. A MySQL backend server and a MCE plugin client. The client can connect to the server to receive movie data and also using the collection management system gives you the ability to add movies to your collection.

First I am going to show you the collection management system. So when you start the program you will see this.

On the left is all the movies in the collection. The middle and right shows all info about the movie you can edit all the fields in the middle and right collumns, but that will be unnessary due to the advanced title search engine built into the program. There is a button right bellow file is the add title button. There are a few awesome ways to add the movie info. You can search by title, type the barcode in to get the info or just pop the dvd in and the program will automaticly add the movie to the collection.

Moving on now, you get to see the awesome features of the Media Center Plugin. Bellow is a screen shot of the plugin.

As you can see in Vista this program is great because it shows you the front cover of the title and gives you options to search your titles by generes or categories. I really don’t know what else to say about this program except that it is awesome. Please email me with any questions at support@bluephoenix.tv Stick around because soon I will be doing a video tutorial on this great program. Check it out and you will not regret it. http://www.mymovies.dk/ is the url.
